Owners Ryan and Melissa Scheller opened the doors to SUNsual Tanning in April 2007. They wanted to raise the bar in the tanning community, offering state of the art equipment, several levels of tanning, and a multitude of tanning packages to meet the individualized needs of each client. Ryan and Melissa take pride in the training of each staff member to be "Smart Tan Certified", qualified in lotion sales and individualizing package selling making each staff member truly a tanning consultant.

Ryan, having owned and operated a successful Dj and Production company for 15 years, brings a great business outlook to the table. Melissa, having been in the corporate world for 10 years and working at a salon for 2 years, wanted to create a fun and upbeat work atmosphere with employees who were enthusiastic. With these attributes, Ryan and Melissa wanted to create a tanning salon where our clients trust us with all their tanning needs.
